MADLA GREENWAY

The first mile of trail in the 35-acre Madla Greenway is now open to the public.  The Madla Greenway will connect the VIDA comunidad to Texas A&M University-San Antonio campus through trails and sidewalks. Trails run along a seasonal creek bed lined with ancient oaks and natural seating. Trail material is accessible, but soft for running – made of recycled asphalt it is a more sustainable material that supports water flow along the creek bed. Phase 2 trails will begin this fall and will run south from the greenway towards the University Health and A&M-San Antonio campuses. Read the latest news on the Madla Greenway here.
