Each year, the VIDA San Antonio plaza shines bright during Lights of Esperanza, a beloved Southside tradition hosted by Texas A&M University–San Antonio. The event brings together thousands of visitors to celebrate the holiday season with more than 30,000 dazzling lights, festive music, and family-friendly fun.
Guests enjoy a variety of activities and entertainment throughout the evening, including a sledding hill, snowball fights, cookie decorating, local food vendors, and a makers market featuring Southside artisans. The night concludes with a stunning laser light show that officially kicks off the holiday season in San Antonio.
