Community Update: November 2024

Phase 5 planning is now underway! As the largest of VIDA’s 7 phases, this north eastern corner of VIDA will add roughly 500 homes, the second mile of the Madla Greenway, neighborhood parks and more. Watch for updates as construction is expected to be underway mid-2025.

Growth at Vida means more South Side housing

A master-planned community on San Antonio’s South Side is getting ready for its fourth phase of development, which will bring it closer to delivering the nearly 1,700 housing units it has planned. Vida San Antonio, which is being developed by New Braunfels-based Southstar, filed plans for a new subdivision with the city Planning Commission this week.
