VIDA Phase 3
Development progress continues at an impressive pace for the VIDA community. Phase 3, which will feature a range of homes and townhomes, is located just north of VIDA’s Town center and the University Health Campus. We anticipate construction of homes to commence in Phase 3 next Spring.
University Health Hospital Site Work Underway
This month marks a significant milestone in the development of VIDA, as University Health has begun site work in preparation to construct the first three buildings on the University Health campus at VIDA; the hospital, the first medical office building, and the Department of Public Health building. Watch for updates on progress.
Art at VIDA: Call for Artists
In August, VIDA issued our inaugural call for artists, inviting creative minds to submit their concepts for the first sculpture to grace VIDA, to be prominently displayed on Mitra Way, just past the Lennar model home. Final concept selection will take place later this year, and we will soon unveil the selected artist.

Park Naming Contest
As temperatures cool towards the end of this month, we are thrilled to announce the commencement of the construction of parks and trails in Phase 2. We invite you to take part in the naming of these exciting new outdoor spaces. Please submit your park name recommendations along with the reasons for your choice via VIDA’s social channels, accessible at @LiveVida.

Friday, October 6 – National Night Out Block Party hosted by Texas A&M University – San Antonio. Enjoy food, drinks, and music!
Saturday, October 14 – VIDA Open House – Stop by for food from the food trucks and tour several homes and nearly completed homes to see all that the community has. Stroll the Madla Greenway and check out hundreds-year old oak trees and read the signs about the importance of the greenway to San Antonio’s watershed.
Saturday, October 21 – San Antonio Sports Fit Family Challenge Free Fall 5k. Free family-friendly 5k and fun events between VIDA and Texas A&M San Antonio.
