Phase 2 Homes and Parks
New homes are underway in Phase 2 of VIDA San Antonio, as well as three new parks, connected to the Madla Greenway. Community trails will also connect to the south to the (future) University Health and A&M-San Antonio campus. Parks will be named based on feedback from the community, and outdoor art installations will also be included throughout the parks in the future.
Phase 3 & Beyond
Phase 3 of VIDA is currently being developed, delivering new sites for more homes, parks and townhomes closer to campus. Planning for Phases 4–10 is already underway on the east side of University Way, so stay tuned for updates.

Townhomes at VIDA
Sitterle will begin constructing townhomes along University Way prior to the end of the year. Keep an eye out for their sales trailer, which will be installed at VIDAs community entrance at S. Zarzamora and Mitra Way.
Madla Greenway
Following some surface work to reinforce washout areas, the Madla Greenway trail is open and ready to enjoy – fall is a great time to get out and stroll the 1 mile loop.

Fit Family 5k Recap
A big thank you to everyone who supported VIDA and A&M’s Fit Family 5k in October. Over 2,000 people joined the event, and we’re looking forward to hosting more of these events to bring our incredible community together.

Lights of Esperanza – Tuesday, November 28; 6–8 p.m.
Located on the A&M-San Antonio campus at the corner of VIDA and University Way, this annual family-friendly celebration kicks off the holidays with free games, snow sledding, activities, live music, food and more.
